Delete your account

You can permanently delete your FitBharat account and everything in it. There are two ways to do it, and neither requires you to speak to anyone.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

This is instant and the fastest route.

  1. Open FitBharat and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the Account section.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently erased after 30 days. Signing back in within those 30 days restores everything, in case you change your mind.

Option 2 — Request deletion without the app

If you have uninstalled FitBharat, lost access to your device, or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.

Email a deletion request

Please include:

  • The email address on the account, or your @handle if you used a guest account
  • Confirmation that you want the account permanently deleted

We verify that the request comes from the account owner before acting on it, then delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email once it is done.

What gets deleted

Everything. Specifically:

  • Your account and sign-in credentials
  • Your profile — body, work and routine answers
  • Your generated plan, targets and reminders
  • Every daily log — meals, water, steps, weight, sleep
  • Every workout log and saved meal
  • All photographs, including gym check-ins and progress photos
  • Your entire coach conversation history
  • Your public profile, @handle, points and streak
  • Your challenge memberships and leaderboard entries
  • Your push notification tokens
This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. Once the 30-day grace period has passed, your data cannot be recovered by you or by us. If you want to keep a record of your progress, take screenshots before you delete.

What we keep, and for how long

After deletion we retain nothing that identifies you. We may keep anonymous, aggregated counts — such as the total number of accounts — which cannot be linked back to any person. Where law requires us to retain a limited record, we keep only what is legally necessary and delete it as soon as that obligation ends.

If you do not want to delete everything

  • Want to leave the leaderboards? Remove your @handle in the app. Your account stays, but you stop appearing publicly.
  • Want the reminders to stop? Turn them off in Reminders, or revoke the notification permission in your device settings.
  • Want to stop the step sync? Disconnect Apple Health in your device’s privacy settings.
