1. Who we are
FitBharat: The New Life (“FitBharat”, “New Life”, “the app”) is built and operated by Zenrio Technologies(“we”, “us”), India. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.
Contact for any privacy question or request: support@zenriotech.com.
2. What we collect
We only collect what the app needs to build and run your plan. There is no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics tracker in the app.
Account information
- Email address and password if you create an account. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.
- Anonymous guest sessions. You can use the app without an account. We then hold only an anonymous identifier, not an email.
- Display name, @handle and profile picture, if you choose to set them.
Your profile
Collected during onboarding, to calculate your plan:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Body | Date of birth or age, sex, height, weight, body-fat percentage, injuries, goal, target weight, training experience, equipment access, supplements |
| Work | Job type, working days and hours, how physically active your job is, stress level |
| Routine | Current sleep and wake times, target sleep, typical daily steps, eating style, diet type, cuisine, dislikes, usual gym time, session length, training days, rest day, water, caffeine and alcohol habits |
Your daily logs
- Meals — names, ingredients, calories and macronutrients
- Water intake, step counts, body weight and sleep hours
- Workouts — exercises, sets, repetitions and weights lifted
- Discipline points, streaks and weekly review results
Photographs
- Meal photos you take or select for nutrition estimation
- Gym check-in photos used to verify you attended a gym
- Weighing scale photos used to read your weight automatically
- Your profile picture, if you set one
Health app data
If you explicitly connect it, we read your daily step count from Apple Health. We request read access only, we read nothing else, and we never write back to it.
Technical data
- A per-device push notification token, if you enable reminders
- A randomly generated device identifier used to keep push tokens separate per device
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, call or SMS logs, browsing history, or any advertising identifier.
3. How we use it
- To generate your plan — your body, work and routine answers are run through standard nutrition and training formulas on your device to produce calorie targets, macros, a training split, an eating window and a sleep schedule.
- To track and adapt — your logs drive progress charts, weekly reviews, and the recalibration that corrects your calorie target based on how your weight actually moves.
- To coach you — your plan and recent logs give the AI coach the context to answer your questions usefully.
- To send reminders you have configured.
- To run challenges and leaderboards, if you choose a public @handle.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for marketing, or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. AI processing of your photos and messages
This section matters, so it is separate and explicit.
When you send a message to the coach, photograph a meal, take a gym check-in photo, or scan your weighing scale, that content is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to the Google Gemini API for analysis. Along with your message we may include relevant plan context — for example your calorie targets or recent workouts — so the reply is actually useful.
- Content is sent to Google for the sole purpose of generating your result.
- We do not use your photos or conversations to train any AI model.
- Google’s handling is governed by its own API terms and privacy policy.
- Your chat history and photos remain stored in your own account so you can see them again.
Please avoid sending sensitive content you would not want processed by a third party. Do not photograph documents, other people without their agreement, or anything containing personal information you would rather keep private.
5. Who else sees your data
We never sell your personal data, and we never share it for advertising. We use these service providers to run the app:
| Provider | What it handles | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) | Your account and all of your app data | Sign-in and database hosting |
| Google Gemini API | Coach messages, meal, check-in and scale photos | Generating coaching replies and nutrition estimates |
| Vercel | Requests passing to the AI service, and this website | Hosting |
| Expo push notification service | Device push tokens | Delivering reminders and invitations |
| Open Food Facts | Barcodes you scan | Looking up packaged food nutrition |
We may also disclose information where legally required, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. What other users can see
By default, nothing. Your logs, photos, weight and plan are readable only by your own account.
If you choose a public @handle in order to join challenges or appear on leaderboards, the following becomes visible to other signed-in users of the app:
- Your @handle
- Your display name, if set
- Your profile picture, if set
- Your stated goal, discipline points and streak
Your meals, weight, body measurements, workouts, photographs and coach conversations are never shared with other users. If you would rather share nothing at all, simply do not set a @handle — the rest of the app works without one.
7. Health and fitness data
Much of what FitBharat stores — weight, body-fat percentage, injuries, sleep, steps, nutrition — is health-related and treated as sensitive personal data.
- We process it on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you complete onboarding and choose to log data.
- It is used only to deliver the app’s features to you.
- It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with insurers, employers or data brokers.
- Step data read from Apple Health is used solely to fill in your daily step count.
FitBharat is not a medical device. It provides general fitness and nutrition information and cannot diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing how you train or eat.
8. How long we keep it
- While your account is active, we keep your data so the app can show your history and trends.
- When you delete your account, it enters a 30-day grace period during which signing back in restores everything.
- After 30 days, your account and its data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
9. Deleting your data
You can delete everything at any time, in two ways:
- In the app — Profile → Account → Delete account.
- From this website — see the account deletion page, which works without installing the app.
Deletion removes your profile, plan, all daily logs, workouts, saved meals, photographs, coach conversations, challenge memberships and public profile.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Complain to your data protection authority
Most of this is available directly in the app. For anything else, email support@zenriotech.com and we will respond within 30 days.
11. Security
- All traffic between the app and our services uses TLS encryption.
- Data is stored in Google Firebase with security rules that restrict each account to its own records.
- Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication and are never stored or visible to us.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach occurs.
12. Children
FitBharat is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it. Calorie restriction and training programmes carry particular risks for developing bodies.
13. International transfers
Our providers — Google and Vercel — operate globally, so your data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. These providers maintain safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.
14. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. This policy was last updated on 28 August 2026.
